Zony is a cool gray mare.
Cool story on her name. We bought her bred to a zebra. She had a zony baby. So we now call her zony. She is an amazing mother and easy to be around. She does seam to have some moon blindness, related to her leopard gene. She does see but struggles with low lighting.
She only carries one copy of the leopard complex and one copy of the gray gene. That gives every foal a 50% chance of being a gray baby. Her base color is sorrel and her last foal for us was a cute as a button built right sorrel colt.
The summer of 2023 she ran with Buckaroo our buckskin stallion.
In the fall she was with Wee Willy Billy our sorrel pintaloosa stallion.
Most likely was covered by Billy based on her late summer foal.
