Hurricane is a wonderful stallion.

He is in your pocket and easy to catch. His genetics make him very desirable. He is a few spot pintaloosa. Which means that every baby will get one copy of the Leopard gene and 50% will get the pattern gene. So 50% of his foals will make leopard appaloosas. That is a 25% increase from breeding to a regular leopard appaloosa stallion. He also carries a copy of the tobiano gene. Which makes him a paint as well or combined with the appaloosa genes a pintaloosa. He is a proven breeder and ever foal has had color.

His only downfall which comes with double LP appaloosas is, that he does have some moon blindness. That means at night or low light areas he does not see as well. It is not genetics that will pass onto foals. Unless you are breeding to another appaloosa and the foal ends up with two LP genes again. Then there is a chance the foal may have moon blindness at some point in their life. I have several LP/LP mares and stallions that don't show signs of moon blindness and a few that do. I have no leopard or pintaloosa mares with single LP gene that have shown any signs. It does not affect his ability to live a full life or breed mares.

He pasture or hand breeds. He is very good with is mares and foals. We have never had a problem with him in a herd setting. He will fight another stallion through a fence and he will win.

If your looking to put color in your herd then this man will do it. If an appaloosa filly is worth $3k give or take. Then with 6 mares he should pay for himself in the first year.
